Call for a Pos-Doc Researcher - 1 Vacancy (COMMUNITAS)

Call is open for the award of 1 (one) Post-Doc Research Fellowship (BIPD) at UNINOVA - Institute for the Development of New Technologies within the scope of the COMMUNITAS – 101096508 – Bound to accelerate the roll-out and expansion of Energy Communities and empower consumers as fully- fledged energy market players, funded by the EU HORIZON Program for the development of R&D activities to be carried out by PhD researchers, under the following conditions:

Area: Electrical and Computer Engineering

Recipient admission requirements /Profile:

1. PhD in areas related with Electrotechnical Engineering or Computer Science, finished less than 3 (three) years (mandatory).
2. Not exceed, with the conclusion of the scholarship contract in question, including possible renewals, an accumulated period of 3 (three) years in this type of scholarship, consecutive or interpolated.
3. Knowledge in:

1. Programming: Java, C.
2. Cyber-Physical Production Systems, Internet of Things
3. Scientific Research and Writing
4. Experienced in elaborating EC project deliverables

4. Experienced in European research projects, minimum 3 years (mandatory).
5. Immediate availability.
6. Residence in the Metropolitan Area of Lisbon.
7. Fluent in English, written and spoken (Mandatory).
8. Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Candidates who have obtained the degree abroad must have the degree recognized in Portugal, pursuant to Decree-Law No. 66/2018 of August 16th.
