Call for a Researcher - 1 Vacancy

UNINOVA – Instituto de Desenvolvimento de Novas Tecnologias, by decision of the Executive Committee, opens an international call to hire 1 (one) Researcher, Researcher in the form of an Unfixed-Term and an exclusive Contract under the following Research Projects funded by the European Commission and under local scientific-technical coordination of Prof. Pedro Maló:

• HORIZON Circular TwAIn (ID: 101058585) “AI Platform for Integrated Sustainable and Circular Manufacturing”
• HORIZON FAME (ID: 101092639) “Federated decentralized trusted dAta Marketplace for Embedded finance”
• HORIZON MODUL4R (ID: 101091859) “Industrial Manufacturing strategies for distributed control and resilient, rapidly responsive and reconfigurable supply chains”

Admission Requirements/Profile of the Candidate:

Applicants may be any Portuguese national, foreign, or stateless, holders of an MSc degree in Electrotechnical and Computer Engineering, duly registered and/or recognized in Portugal and that holds the following requirements:

• Have a minimum of 10 years of participation in European Research & Development and Innovation (R&D+I) projects with a focus on mobile and collaborative robotics and autonomous industrial systems.
• Experience in developing technological solutions for autonomous intralogistics systems for manufacturing, including autonomous navigation systems and collaborative robotic stations.
• Track record of scientific publications on the themes of mobile robotics, autonomous navigation, service robotics for intralogistics, and semantic-based approaches.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in industrial projects in service robotics.
• Fluency in English and Portuguese (written, understood, and spoken).
